BIOGRAPHY 

 

        Sandy Hanna was born in 2005 in Southern New Jersey. Hanna has been creating art since she was very young. She would begin by mimicking objects from life by making forks and plates. As she grew, she would take on new terrains to transform her art. She would go on to teach herself piano after stopping musical lessons.

 

       Acquiring tastes in both music and art, it provided the perfect escape as a hideaway. Hanna became extremely interested in 2D animation because of the movement of art and music involved.

       By college, she was creating art with unstoppable fervor. After trying to pursue being a math tutor, the realization became know that she is still passionate in the arts. Hanna is obsessed with blending methods of painting, piano, and animation together.

       Hanna currently attends Stockton University in pursuit of a BFA with emphasis in painting. She is thinking to pursue an MFA to blend her love of art, animation, and music together in her career. There is no telling where Hanna's heart will take her next.

ARTISTS STATEMENT

Sansandreamer, known professionally as Sandy Hanna, is an multidisciplinary Artist, Animator, Pianist, and Story Teller based in South Jersey, working to portray the keys to save humanity. To take a stance in the face of injustice is what Sansan cares most about. Sandy's Animation and Art were premiered in the South Jersey Area Wind Ensemble this year with the fervent goal to counteract the AI takeover in the concert with artwork that is real. Sansan’s work sparks change and inspires wonder in humanity by cultivating a vision of joy. Sansan uses all modes of artistic expression to connect to the feeling of majesty. Moreover, Sansan invites the viewer to take a deeper and closer look into the emotional and higher self by using cool and golden tones. Even when everything feels lost or sudden, there are still many, blue and golden brushstokes of hope. A fierce spark is what strikes the eyes to see what is real, never a biased supposition. A parted mouth of sadness becomes a smile of hope and acceptance in life’s complexity and joy. To truly bring to light what integrity is in a tangible world where Palestinians and all people can find their determination under total irreverence, is Sansan's haven. Life always comes full circle to those with the most reverential courage and sovereignty to protect the world and to stand for what is right.
